Definitions

• www.weddingfest.in — the website through which you can avail matrimonial and related services
• Member — a person who has opened a profile on this website
• Channel Partner — an authorized representative of WeddingFest who provides service on behalf of WeddingFest, both online and offline
• Profile — a page with details about the person along with profile picture, visible to other members after verification
• Verification — matching the name and photograph in the profile with the photo identity and address proof, plus physical collection of information by Channel Partner
• Bride / Prospective Bride — a woman more than 18 years of age who is never married, widow, divorcee, or awaiting divorce
• Bride Groom / Prospective Bride Groom — a man more than 21 years of age who is never married, widow, divorcee, or awaiting divorce

Eligibility

1. To use the services, you must be a minimum of 18 years old (female) or 21 years old (male).
2. Services are only for marriages between male and female. Our services are not extended to same-sex couples.
3. This is not a dating website. Please refrain from using it for dating purposes.
4. The site is only to facilitate lawful marriages between persons legally competent to enter into matrimony under the laws to which they are subject.
5. WeddingFest reserves the right to terminate your membership at any time if it believes you are not eligible or have made any misrepresentation about your eligibility.

General Terms & Conditions

1. A scanned copy of a valid photo identity proof and address proof must be uploaded at the time of Registration.
2. Profile pictures deemed fake, illegal, unclear, or in violation of third-party rights will be deleted without further reference.
3. A valid mobile phone number is required for activation of the profile.
4. Multiple profiles of one individual are not permissible. WeddingFest shall delete all subsequent profiles.
5. To avail paid services, payment must be made through UPI. All payments are online only.
6. Charges for availing our services once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
7. You will not send unauthorized commercial communications (spam) on the website.
8. You will not use automated means (bots, robots, scrapers) to collect users' content without our permission.
9. You will not bully, intimidate, harass, stalk, or impersonate any user.
10. You will not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that incites violence.
11. You will not upload viruses or other malicious code.
12. You will not use the website for any unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory activity.
13. You will not use WeddingFest's copyrights or trademarks without written permission.
14. You will not post anyone's identification documents or sensitive financial information on the site.
15. WeddingFest reserves the right to cancel access rights immediately without notice if an account is being misused.

You Acknowledge, Understand & Agree That

1. Data provided by other users is uploaded by them and WeddingFest cannot vouch for its correctness.
2. WeddingFest's role is limited to matching the profile photo with the identity/address proof provided.
3. Usage of the website does not guarantee marriage; it only acts as a medium to find a suitable life partner.
4. WeddingFest cannot ensure the quality of matching profiles. Nearest available profiles in the database will be provided.
5. No refund shall be made under any circumstances.
6. WeddingFest shall not intervene in any personal or family dispute arising between prospective partners or their families.
7. WeddingFest shall not be responsible for any legal dispute — civil, criminal, or matrimonial — before or after marriage.
8. All payments must be made online only. Do not pay cash to anybody. Every payment to WeddingFest should reflect an SMS on your mobile and a balance in your account.
9. WeddingFest reserves the right to delist, block, deactivate, or cancel any profile at any time without prior notice.

Channel Partner Activities for Member

1. After enrollment, WeddingFest shall assign a local Channel Partner who will assist the member with match-making during their full tenure.
2. Matching profiles will be shared with both the Channel Partner and the member. Acceptance via website shall be deemed final.
3. The assistance will be carried out only during normal working hours (09:30 AM to 06:30 PM, Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays). Channel Partners will contact the member at least 2 times a week.
4. Channel Partner shall not shortlist prospects if the age difference is more than 10 years.
5. For Divorced/Widowed/Separated/Annulled members, the Channel Partner shall only shortlist and initiate contact with prospects of the same marital status.
6. Payments made to WeddingFest are treated as non-refundable and cannot be assigned to any person or adjusted toward any other product or package.

Membership, Term, Fee & Security

1. WeddingFest intends only to serve as a preliminary medium of contact and information for users with bona fide intentions to enter into a matrimonial alliance.
2. Users can register as Members at no cost. Non-paying members will have limited access to features and services.
3. Free subscription continues indefinitely until cancelled by the Service Provider for violation of these terms.
4. Members may terminate their membership at any time by sending a written request to the Customer Support Team. No refund will be made for any unused services.
5. Account Security: Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their username and password. Notify WeddingFest immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Copyright Policy

Users/Members acknowledge that they will not post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information of www.weddingfest.in without obtaining prior written consent from the Service Provider.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the Laws of India. Any dispute arising out of these Terms & Conditions shall be strictly within the jurisdiction of the Courts of Kolkata, and you hereby agree to the jurisdiction of these Courts.

Limitation on Liability

In no event shall the Service Provider be liable for any damages whatsoever — whether direct, indirect, general, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental — arising out of or relating to the conduct of any Member or anyone else in connection with the use of www.weddingfest.in. Service Provider's liability to any Member for any cause will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by that Member to the Service Provider.

Disclaimers

WeddingFest is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate content posted on the website, whether caused by users, members, or equipment associated with the service. The website and service are provided "AS-IS" and WeddingFest expressly disclaims any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

Any information posted on the website is for informational purposes only and is not intended to replace or substitute for any professional financial, medical, legal, or other advice.
